We were awarded a matching grant to help fund our PME Research Award. This award is given to a student or students who have shown outstanding achievement in the dissemination of mathematical research. This year's recipients were Peter Jakes, Nathan Pool, and Kelly Reagan. During their undergraduate careers, they have published or submitted 8 research papers, and they have given 18 presentations at national and regional conferences We were also awarded a Conference Grant which helped fund the 12th annual University of North Carolina Greensboro Regional Mathematics and Statistics Conference.
