Activities: This year, Pi Mu Epsilon again participated in the Youngstown State University MathFest for high school students. Breaking previous records, over 400 high school students visited Youngstown State to spend the day attending workshops focused on mathematics conducted by our faculty and students. In addition to volunteering, our members hosted the following three workshops: Experiences of Math Majors, Exploring the Mathematics of the Rubik's Cube, and Mathematics and Origami. Additionally, with the Youngstown State University Department of Mathematics and Statistics, our chapter hosted our annual homecoming tailgate party. Many of our faculty, students, and alumni came out to support the Youngstown Penguins and enjoy the weekend.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Yes (11 to 13 students plan to attend MathFest 2015 in Washington, DC).

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
