Activities: Since we founded our chapter just this year, we celebrated the installation of our chapter, along with our induction ceremony, with a talk by Dr. David Sutherland entitled “Permutations and Tableaux.” We also co-hosted an event called Treats and Talk where undergraduate students, graduate students and professors were invited to get together for some informal conversation and holiday goodies. This event provided an opportunity for networking and information exchange.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
Justin Huntress won Outstanding Junior in ChBE award this past spring. Katelyn Koschewa will be at Yale School of Management pursuing an MBA as a Silver Scholar. Paul Ponmattam won both the Goldwater Scholarship and Waldemar J. Trjitzinsky Memorial Award from American Mathematical Society. Alexander M Ruys de Perez will be at Vanderbilt for graduate work. Zhuoer Wang will be attending a master's program.
