Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Continued traditions of the Problem of the Month and tutoring for math courses during finals week.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the 2009 PME national meeting at MathFest in Portland, Oregon?

Bobby Markey plans to attend as chapter representative.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates, for example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences?

The Problem of the Month continued to be successful with faculty, students, and alumni and other outsiders. We awarded $40 to our first place winner Jessica Carlson, and $20 was split between the second place team of Chris Hoffman and Briana Wells.
