Professor Nathan Gibson (Oregon Beta Chapter at Oregon State University) receives the Advisor Award for his service to the mathematical community. Professor Gibson is the founder of the Northwest Undergraduate Mathematics Symposium (NUMS), now entering its fourth year, and the advisor to the Oregon Beta Chapter.
