Activities: Our chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon once again sponsored the Prime Time Colloquium, a forum held once each term for student and faculty to give presentations on interesting mathematical topics. Each term we also ran a "Trivia Break" - a team trivia competition.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
Rebecca Heinen (our chapter secretary) earned an honorable mention in the Barry Goldwater Scholarship program. Recent graduates Maria Gommel and Tyler Schroeder are enrolled in the mathematics PhD program at the University of Iowa, and CJ Halverson is enrolled in the mathematics PhD program at St. Louis University. Three current PME members scored on the 2013 Putnam exam (Joshua Albright (20), Maggie Wieczorek (8), and Jack Ryan (8). Maggie Wieczorek was accepted into (and will attend) the mathematics PhD program at the University of Tennessee. Molly Durava, Maggie Wieczorek, and Rebecca Heinen presented their undergraduate research at NCUR. Kaitlyn Burgess was accepted into the mathematics graduate program at Northern Illinois University.
