Activities: 1. In the fall semester we conducted a math and statistical competition. Officers made the competition test and ran the competition. The tests were scored on correctness of the problems and on speed. The problems were Calculus 1 problems and introductory statistics which encouraged the freshman and lower class students to participate and join the math club. We awarded prizes to the first three winners. 2. In the spring semester we had a movie night. We watched the movie, Hidden Figures, which is about three African American NASA mathematicians. This was a great break from having speakers come and present their research and findings.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
Thanks to a conference grant from Pi Mu Epsilon and from the NSF, we were able to continue our TROY MathFest undergraduate mathematics conference. This was our 12th such conference, and our first that was on 2 days. For this year, we had about 142 participants. There were participants from about 15 different institutions. There were 44 talks total, 38 of which were by undergraduate students. Our Activities included the following: Talks by undergraduates (and 2 graduates, and 4 faculty), a student poster session, calculus competition with cash prizes for the first five places, graduate school information tables with recruiters,, and invited speakers Professors Joseph Gallian and Chris Rodger.. His talk was entitled Lunch and refreshments were provided for all participants. On the next page is the list of events.
