Activities: We hosted the Texas Undergraduate Mathematics Conference in November 2024. This was the 19th annual meeting of TUMC, and we had 180 participants, most of them undergraduate students from across Texas. The students heard plenary lectures by Professor Rebecca Garcia of Colorado College and Daniel du Preez, a software developer at SpaceX working on Starlink. Participating institutions were Austin College, Baylor, Collin College, Dallas College, Lamar, LeTourneau, Midwestern State, Prairie View A&M, Rice, St. Edwards, Sam Houston, St. Mary's, Southwestern, Stephen F. Austin, Sul Ross, Tarleton, Texas Lutheran, U of North Texas, UT Austin, UT Rio Grande Valley, Tyler Junior College, U of Dallas, U of Houston, U of Mary Hardin-Baylor, UT Dallas, and U of the Incarnate Word.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Yes, we had two chapter members present at the PME poster session at JMM 2025.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
We received a conference grant and used it to help fund travel expenses for Daniel du Preez, one of our plenary speakers at the Texas Undergraduate Mathematics Conference.
