Activities: Our induction ceremony was moved to align with our departments' Pi Day celebration. It started with the induction ceremony, then involved some pi-day related activities (a pi-day bingo, search, etc) and ended with a tradition where one student is chosen to pi a professor in the face.

Illinois Mu was awarded a prize grant for this year. We had a weekly problem of the week that students could enter solutions for. A weekly winner was chosen by drawing (you can only win once per semester) for a starbucks gift card, and then at the end of each semester, we had a larger drawing, where each student got one chance per correct submission.
