Activities: Our induction ceremony is tied to our department pi day celebration, which includes the pie-ing of a professor and other pi (and pie) related activities. In addition, we supported a year-long problem of the week competition.

Illinois Mu was awarded a prize grant for this year. As in previous years, we had a weekly problem of the week that students could enter solutions for. A weekly winner was chosen by drawing (you can only win once per semester) for a Starbucks gift card, and then at the end of each semester, we had a larger drawing, where each student got one chance per correct submission.
