Activities: This year we continued our annual integration bee which is partially funded by a PME grant. The integration bee had over 20 participants with first through third place received prizes. Along with our annual induction ceremony, we held our annual Abramson Colloqium, which brings in an internal speaker to give a general audience math talk.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? It is possible that Adam Murphy, a soon to be graduate who is applying to PhD programs will present at JMM this coming year.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
Our student Oscar Quester was accepted to UConn's PhD program. He is doing well and is already more than half way through his comprehensive exams.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
We were awarded a PME prize grant that was used to fund a first place cash prize at our annual integration bee. The math department matches the total grant for a second and third place prize as well as providing snack and refreshments at the event.
