Activities: We had an awards day with knots(pretzels) and pi(chocolate chip cookie pie). 29 Hope students and 1 Hope faculty member were inducted. In addition 32 awards were given out for outstanding performance and contribution to the math department. We also took 4 faculty and 9 students to JMM 2026, 8 of which were student speakers. Some of these students helped lead the PME panel on navigating JMM, they volunteered at the PME booth, and helped with the undergraduate student reception.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Yes, we will bring student presenters to the JMM in Chicago.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
We used the Prize grant to fund our 8 third year awards (which we named the Pi Mu Epsilon Third Year Award). This prize grant was matched by local funds being used for the other 24 awards that were given. All awardees were given an inspirational math book, certificate, and a special math department button.
