Activities: The chapter conducted the first Integral Bee contest which was attended by an estimated 25 students and faculty. Contestants were asked to evaluate increasingly difficult integrals. The atmosphere was tense but all of us had a good time! Two members presented at the Michigan Section of the MAA conference.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Yes, we expect one member to present at the conference.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
Four members graduated this year. One graduate is still looking for a position. The other three have found positions in actuarial sciences, computer programming, or restaurant management.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
For the very first time, the Michigan Section of the Mathematical Association of America and the Michigan Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges meetings were held at Ferris! There were over 30 presentations with about a third of them given by student presenters. Approximately 120 people and more than 20 higher institutions were represented at the conference.
