Activities: We had our second Integral Bee contest which was well attended. Several students participated and we had lots of munchies including homemade cookies. Three PME members gave a presentation on Fractals to the department (open to the University).

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Prof. Anil Venkatesh will be attending.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
One student is furthering her education in Business Analytics at Michigan State University. Another student is going to Central Michigan University to do a masters in mathematics. One student is now working at Auto Owners in programming and another one is in Wisconsin working for a Health-related company.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
One of our students won the Outstanding Student award in Mathematics. PME gave him a prize of $100 in addition to what the department contributed. The student was greatly appreciative of the extra scholarship money since money was a little tight for him.
