Activities: We awarded our chapter’s Pi Mu Epsilon Research Award to graduating senior Hanna Noelle Griesbach for her outstanding achievements in the dissemination of her research. Hanna conducted research at Elon (on Galois theory) and at an REU at Occidental College (on algebraic number theory). She has given 6 presentations and submitted two papers for publication, one of which has been accepted. She will be attending graduate school at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro to study algebraic number theory.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Yes. Hanna Noelle Griesbach plans to present.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
14 of our PME members graduated this year. Some are attending graduate school, others will be high school math teachers, and the rest are entering the workforce in STEM careers.
