Activities: On September 29, 2023, the Department of Mathematics held the 48th PI MU EPSILON Conference at Miami University. In total, 26 students gave 21 talks. The presenters were from Miami University, Defiance College, Butler University, Hope College, Earlham College, Wabash College, IUPUI, Columbus State Community College, Cedarville University, and Northern Kentucky University. Topics of the presentations were not restricted to a specific topic. In addition, Stephanie Edwards, from Hope College, a former president of PME gave an invited address on The P2 + P′ problem and George P ́olya. Between the invited address and the student talks, students had a pizza party in the departmental courtyard where they were able to network with the participants of the 49 the Annual Mathematics Conference.
Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? Yes, four students applied to participate in JMM in 2025. In 2024, Chris Guptil and Nathaniel Smith gave talks in PME poster and talks sessions.
Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
PME Lectureship was used to cover travel expenses for Stephanie Edwards, Conference grant was used to pay for snacks and T-shirts for participants.
