Activities: This year the chapter, and department, embarked on a process to reassess how potential members are selected. We documented the process and outcomes on our new website https://sites.google.com/oregonstate.edu/pme/dei-process The result was a list of values of the chapter, aligning with adopted departmental values, and an application process with fewer minimum qualifications. “The proposed guidelines for membership are to evaluate candidates based on demonstrable evidence of pursuing the values stated.”
