Activities: New faculty member Ayah Almousa ran an interactive session in which students explored the fundamentals of graph theory through problem-solving activities. Starting with an introduction to graphs, students engaged with guided worksheets to discover key properties such as graph isomorphisms and planarity. After we built a foundation, students delved into graph coloring and its significance in solving practical problems like map coloring, scheduling, and solving sudoku puzzles. The session was very student-centered and accessible to all levels of undergraduates! We were proud to bring back our Integration Bee for the first time since the pandemic. Students worked in teams of 4 to solve integrals. Door prizes and overall prizes were distributed. The event was a great success and we hope to continue it annually.
