Activities: This year, we did biweekly meetings with both student and faculty presentations. The students presented their original research (done at REUs or at UT Tyler). We also held a few Math contests, including an Integration Bee, the Putnam exam, and the COMAP modeling contest.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? No.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
We had four undergraduate students go on to graduate programs, two at UT Tyler, one at University of Illinois, and one at University of Missouri. Several students gave presentations on their research at national and local conferences.

If you were awarded a PME Lectureship, Conference, or Prize Grant within the past year, please briefly describe the results.
We were awarded the Prize Grant to hold our annual integration bee. The prize money totaled $200 and PME awarded us $100 towards this total. We had 58 students participate and cash prizes were given out for first, second, and third places.
