Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

One interesting meeting we had during the 2009 – 2010 year was a presentation by Grace Arailacey from the National Security Agency (NSA). She talked about the mathematics applied to her work such as cracking codes in governmental work. Another meeting we had was a presentation by Dr. Colleen Robles. She gave a talk entitled “Introduction to the Gauss-Bonnet Theorem: how the coffee cup and donut are the same.”
