Activities: This year's Pi Mu Epsilon induction for the Massachusetts Theta Chapter took place on the same day as the STEM Symposium at Simmons University on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. We had 3 inductees: Nardos Alemu, Cameron Jester, and Raneem Mousa, and they all gave presentations at the STEM Symposium.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
Audrey Parker, who was inducted into Pi Mu Epsilon in AY 22-23, graduated in May 2024 and is beginning graduate school at Boston University to pursue the MAT for teaching secondary school mathematics. Shirley Wong, who was inducted into Pi Mu Epsilon in AY 22-23, is pursing the MS in Data Science at Northeastern University. Also, Cameron Jester, one of our recent Pi Mu Epsilon inductees and who graduated in May 2024, has been accepted into MS program in Data Science at Northeastern University.
