Activities: 1) The UAS Math Club (and Alaska Alpha) ran an activity at the Juneau STEM Coalition's K-5 family event, "Curiosity Unleashed." 2) Amy Jenson (Ph.D. candidate at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute, and Alaska Alpha member) gave a Math Club talk titled "Modeling the evolution of glacier outburst floods: A case study of the Mendenhall Glacier."
