Activities: We held our second annual program of Pi Mu Epsilon student presentations, Promoting Scholarship and Mathematics. This year's presentations focused on the role of mathematics in insurance and finance. Speakers were Alyssa DiLisio and Vivian Wu. The program took place on December 15, 2015, a week after the fall induction. In Spring, 2016, we hosted the second annual Pi Mu Epsilon invited lecture. The speaker was Pi Mu Epsilon member Meghan Corbett. Her presentation, "A Mathematical Analysis of Fingerprint Algorithmic Methods", was delivered on April 7, 2016.
