Activities: We had three students attend JMM 2026 and present original research. Dr. Robert Koslover from Scientific Applications & Research Associates (SARA) gave a presentation on the mathematics behind some of his work.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present at the PME National Meeting this year? 

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
We have one student who finished our masters degree in math and is now pursuing a doctoral degree in math at the University of Cincinnati. Another students who finished our bachelors degree in math is now pursuing a doctoral degree in math at the University of Kentucky. Several students who did their undergraduate studies here at UT Tyler are now in our MS Mathematics program.
