How to Register

Go to the MAA MathFest Registration Site, and navigate the 6-page registration form as follows:

  • PAGE 1
    • Give your first and last name and email address.
    • For “Registration type”
      • Choose “Student Nonmember”, unless…
      • your school is an MAA Departmental Member, in which case choose “Student Member”.
  • PAGE 2
    • Under “Personal Information”:
      • Fill out your “affiliation”; this is your university/college name.
      • Fill out your mailing address.
    • Under “Additional Information”:
      • Check the first box if this is your first time at MathFest.
      • For the question “Will you be organizing or presenting in a session at MAA MathFest?”:
        • Choose “No”, unless…
        • you are giving two different talks; one for PME and a different one for the MAA. Note, you are not allowed to give the same talk for both PME and MAA.
      • Choose your “Attendee Profile” and “Institution Type” and put in your “Institution’s Name”.
      • For “Association/Society Memberships”:
        • Choose “Other” and enter Pi Mu Epsilon.
        • Choose others as they apply to you.
      • Fill out the demographic information as you please.
    • Under “MAA Student Paper Session Judge”:
      • If prompted, answer “No” to learning more about becoming a judge.
      • Answer “Yes” to receiving more information from PME about travel funding.
      • Answer “Yes” to being a PME Student Speaker or Delegate.
  • PAGE 3
    • Under “Optional Items”:
      • Don’t choose any. The minicourses interfere with PME speaking sessions and you already have a Banquet ticket provided to you by PME.
  • PAGE 4
    • Register other guests if you like, but there is a cost of $219 (or more after May 1) per guest.
  • PAGE 5
    • Check your information for accuracy.
  • PAGE 6
    • Enter your payment information.
