Activities: 1. Because of Covid-19, local activities did not happen. However, the UAS Math Club participated/attended in virtual presentations with University of Alaska Fairbanks, and University of Alaska Anchorage. Josh Walsh also attended this summer's MathFest. 2. Two of our students participated in online REU's: Josh Walsh, current PME/Math Club President, participated in the 2021 Intercollegiate Biomathematics (IBA) summer Cross Institutional Research Experience; and Alice Mehalek, new PME member, participated in MIT's Summer Geometry Institute.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
Two of our recent graduates, and PME, members entered graduate school right before the Covid crisis: Amy Jenson is now at Montana State University, Bozeman; and Katy Price is at Oregon State University, Corvallis. Amy Jenson currently has a preprint of a research article in The Cryosphere (of the European Geoscience Union) of work she did as an undergraduate at UAS.
