IRS Information

Beginning in 2008, the IRS began requiring all Pi Mu Epsilon Chapters to annually report their finances. Since no Chapter has average gross annual revenues over $25,000, the annual filing will be done electronically by the national office for each Chapter, so there is nothing each individual Chapter needs to do.

If you get anything from the IRS that does not look straight-forward to you, please contact the Secretary-Treasurer at secretary-treasurer@pme-math.org for assistance. Your job as faculty associated with Pi Mu Epsilon Chapters should be to work with the students in your Chapter and not working with the IRS. The national office will help you address any tax-related issues that you encounter.
