Do you have any news about current students or recent graduations? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences, etc.
2016-2017 Vice President Emma Talis was awarded an Honorable Mention for the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. Three graduating chapter members will continue their academic careers in graduate programs. Outgoing President Kristen Sandberg will begin the Applied Financial Mathematics program at the University of Connecticut in the fall; outgoing Vice President Nicholas Russell will begin the PhD program in mathematics at the University of Delaware in the fall; and Kate Lovely has just begun her Teacher Education Fellowship at Merrimack College.
